Happy Birthday MAMA CITA!!

FIRST OF ALL HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA CITA!!!!! WOOT WOOT. I HOPE TODAY IS THE BEST DAY EVER. I can’t believe you’re finally in the 40s… time just blows my mind. Really though, have a good day mom I love and miss you. Someone go play tennis with her.

I just made Costa Vida ranch dressing and if that doesn’t make today the best day ever I don’t know what will.

What a week. At the beginning of the week we had zone conference in my new zone!!! Ahhhhhh sister wards zone was there too and I got to see my bff for the first time and it was the best day ever. ALSO MISSION LEADERSHIP GOT SMART PHONES WHAT WHAT. Its crazy. Then a couple days this week sister Bennett was sick so she literally slept for like 30 hours straight hahah. Just kidding not straight but for real she had only been awake for 6 of those hahah. We don’t really know what it was but she’s better now. It was the weirdest feeling ever because for the first time I had nothing to do, no one I had to talk to, nothing to plan for, nothing to study for, nothing to worry about I was just chill for like almost a day. It was so weird but honestly nice to have a break. NOW WE’RE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER.

This week our ward mission leader helped us put on a ward movie night! It was awesome a lot of the ward came and us and the elders had some investigators come! Our investigator Janice came and loved it and was fellow shipped really well. We watched meet the Mormons. Honestly good movie hahah, it was the cutest thing the last person it like goes over is this woman who is a convert and is sending her son on a mission. At the end of the movie our recent convert Rayma (cutest little old lady) came up to us with tears in her eyes and said “we need more people like your families in this world” then she told us how hard it must be for us to be away from you and she thanked us for being here. Seriously sweetest thing, so thank you family from Rayma and I for letting me come on a mission. It’s not easy for any of us! But the blessings and the people’s lives changed are well worth it.

Yesterday I ate Jamaican food what what. Holla holla (in Nicholes voice. Insert her raise the roof arms) it was honestly really good. Just chicken with different sauces and flavorings on them (one was green chicken). But yeah I liked it and they were telling us all about Jamaica and now I really want to live there. And I am being serious.

Anyway this week had a lot of ups and downs. Kind of a rough week in some aspects not gonna lie but it’s okay cause ether 12:6 “And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.”

No witness until a trial of your faith okay – let’s gooooooo. I’m grateful for the hard times and the good times and most of all I’m grateful that God is with me through it all. I love you all and miss you!!! Have a great week!

Also I found out this week that sister Bennett’s favorite movie is the Croods. Let that sink in for a moment. Hahaha literally worst movie she’s hilarious. The fact that is her favorite movie describes her to a T.
